This will be an interactive whistle-stop tour of our immune system’s little heroes and their amazing fighting techniques to defend the body against invaders.

I will cover the structure and function of neutrophils, eosinophils, mast cells, basophils, macrophages, natural killer cells, dendritic cells, B-lymphocytes and T-lymphocytes.
I will also briefly go over the complement system (because we can’t forget the supporting proteins which alert immune cells of intruders and help dispose of them).
